Born in New Zealand, Ben Stanley is a seasoned musician with many skills in several different fields of the creative industry. Ben specialises in music production and composition as an audio engineer and works full time as CEO of his self-founded company, Birdnote Limited. He is an experimental creative with a drive to discover and explore new avenues of performance, composition and design in areas of both software and hardware. Ben strives for exceptional quality in his work and is always searching for new ways to innovate and improve in his on-going projects. He is eager to jump on board new and compelling projects that may come his way and will never turn down an opportunity to grow his knowledge and capabilities.

Collaboration
Ben has been a collaborator since he was in primary school, this has led him through to where his now, joining arms with a variety of likeminded creatives with shared goals and potential. Ben has joined friends and associates in musical, film and even hardware development projects. All to his benefit, he is forever equipped with the knowledge to work well in groups and support his peers during creative processes.
Live Performance
Ben has been a performer his entire life, from bubble bath cantatas to live shows in front of thousands of people. He has the confidence to perform in any setting and knows how to create a boosted atmosphere while on stage. Ben has participated in live streams, street performances, stadium shows and many more.
Career Development
Ben is an entrepreneur at heart and is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to build his career. This has led him down many exciting paths and naturally given him the ability to adapt to unfamiliar conditions very quickly. He is on the cusp of finalising the development of his own company and expects great things to come once it is operational.
Teaching
Ben has spent some of his time sharing his knowledge and skill with his peers and younger generations as a tutor and mentor. He enjoys utilising his abilities in areas such as instrumentation, band play, live performance and more technological fields like live and studio sound engineering to help those who are interested in learning, or who are facing issues with the learning curve of newly adopted skills.
