Solo and Collaborative Music Production

In 2017 Ben began his professional musical career as a producer and singer. He had a drive to release his music internationally and fortunately, was surrounded by the right people who would enable him to achieve this.

Ben teamed up with some friends who were very familiar with the ins-and-outs of music promotion on YouTube, to create an artist profile by the name of Benly. They began this journey by featuring some of Ben's content on popular YouTube channels which quickly gave rise to the subscriber and view count of the official Benly channel and it's own uploads.

Some of Benly's most popular releases include Sheep, Whitehouse and Temporary. He has a library of unreleased projects both solo and collaborative that he wishes to complete when he graduates university. By 2019 the official Benly channel had already amassed over 29 Million views and reached over 100,000 subscribers. By this point Ben had unfortunately put his performance career on hold for mental health reasons.

However, Ben then continued the progression of his performance and production skills in 2021 during his time studying at Massey University, where he began the development of a small music composition and sales company that operated remotely and in his flat in Wellington.
